Imagine: Confusion. Some sleeplessness maybe. Some drifting, boredom, lethargy and procrastination. Some invisible “force” is holding you back. You can’t see it, hear it, touch it, taste it, or even smell it. But a part of you knows something’s not right, something’s not the way it should be, by now.

Now instead imagine: Every minute, hour, day, week and month, lived more intentionally with your needs, and your goals, and with others’ needs and goals too, resulting in a whole improved and authentic way of becoming who you are, increasingly self actualising in the world to the benefit of you and those around you too.

You self actualise through our support in identifying and self-developing the parts of you (attitudes, skills, knowledge) needed to achieve your goals much quicker than you can alone, doing your best (or not) to follow generic guidance – which may be exactly the opposite of what you actually need. (try following the “5 or 10 [80g portions of fruit and vegetables] a day” … before eventually discovering you’re allergic to most fruit and some vegetables! I got sicker and sicker, not healthier!!) 

We all have successes and learnings throughout our entire lives. But now, in your lived experience, something’s just not working to take you where you imagine you should be, or how you imagine you should be feeling. And nothing seems to really be changing that. We help you learn about your self in creative ways, understand your self and others you are working with much better, improve your ways of communicating, enhance your thinking about your different contexts and their conditions, your needs and the different strategies you can use to satisfy them. And how to be more creative and better organised in more areas of your life. In short, an authentic compassionate, curious, clear, creative, calm, confident, courageous, connected, real, whole person, and a remarkable leader of others.

The problem is you are looking in the areas you already know, usually learned via external world feedback from others’ perspectives. Our approach helps you connect more skilfully to your inner world parts that are sub- or un-conscious, and make them conscious so that you can control much more of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

As you attempt to achieve some self-set goals, sometimes inner world parts such as learned behaviours, false beliefs held onto dearly, mindsets, history, baggage, “the shadow” and more erupts and holds you back. To achieve the life and goals you want and need, sometimes, a small amount of deep work to notice and move on is necessary.

But we won’t dwell in the past long, just long enough to tweak something small and re-attempt an unsuccessful step.

We believe everything is connected, complex, dynamic, and unfolding. Learning and applying surface-level only “tricks” and practices without a proper holistic approach, does not lead to success. With proper guidance on “basement parts” and “penthouse parts” you can change quickly, safely and affordably.

With our approach, in bespoke sessions of 1-4 hours per month, and doing “the work” between sessions, you will change what needs to be changed to satisfy your needs and goals.

Coaching is goal or future-oriented focused.

Sometimes some “here now” support is required in an “open ended space” to define and refine vague goals clearly.

Sometimes what was attempted by the coachee in the previous 2-4 weeks stirred up something that is worth having a quick deep enough look at, before proceeding again. The way we evolve as people is non-linear and there is a back-forth in development as certain challenges require a discovery of new approaches to actually achieve them.

I trained for 5 years to become a coach that coaches with great depth holistically - all of the person is included for considering including their key relationships, communities, workplaces, financial health, physical health, emotional health, and mental health. Because everything is connected and is impacted by the changes my coachees undertake to reach their goals an inclusive and systemic awareness approach is provided.

This is the kind of coaching I wanted for myself, and still do, and I offer this to my coachees.

A friend of a friend called me recently. We had a 30 minute chat about his new role, where he is managing 2 people for the first time in his life.

For the past couple of weeks he has felt his 1-1’s were going very badly. He was stressed. He wanted to do a good job.

We had a good connected conversation and we imagined the future and the present a little differently. He looked better, he sounded better, he was clearer and more confident at the end of our call.

A few days later he messaged me, and, on my suggestion to “share the learning”, also messaged his peers, two of the small adjustments we spoke about.

There are now 3 people having much better and more valuable time together. This is benefiting them and their organisation greatly. Especially compared to what might have happened otherwise had the bad approach continued much longer.

And because some of his peers have now adopted those two small tips, even more people are having better times, and the organisation is much much better off.

You just don’t know what you don’t know, but if you listen to your feelings and emotions, you will get clues. Interpreting those clues correctly is also a learned skill, which most people, in my experience, of all ages, genders and societies over the past 70 years at least, have just not learned.

That’s how and where I help quickly and with sizeable impact of my coaching. My coachees frequently tell me “it’s invaluable, incalculable” how much they and their organisations benefit from a little time invested with me.
